Oil on canvas, 16" x 20". Twice a year, about the time of the Spring and Fall equinoxes, there are special nights when the sun is setting in the west as the full moon is rising in the east. This painting shows the sky on such a night. The colors in the sky are called alpenglow, which means "the reflection of the sunset in the west".
A 16" x 20" giclee print of the original painting on gallery-wrapped canvas is available. Gallery-wrapped canvases are 1.5" deep.
Prints on paper are made to order on Moab acid-free paper, mounted on foam core and placed in clear bags.
